Google “kid designers” and you see right away that children are fascinated by fashion. From t-shirt design to haute couture, children are starting their own labels and showing collections on top runways around the world. But the word “design” means so much more. Kids are graphic designers, game designers, architects, and more.

Max Alexander was born in 2016. His first designs, prior to learning to sew, were comprised of ribbons, plastic wrap and scraps of material, fastened together with knots and tape. One year later. at the age of 5, Max began formal sewing classes. His first collection was completed in Summer 2021 and culminated with the overwhelming success of his first runway show in Los Angeles, California. This dress is one he created as a commission for The Children's Collection when he was 6!
Gabrielle (Gabby), is a custom designer from DC who has already shown her work at DC Fashion Week and started her own clothing line, Gabby's World Designs, when she was just 3 years old. She loves art, science, and math, is a published author of the book series Abby Yoyo, and plans to continue in fashion for as long she can. As if that's not enough, she wants to be a scientist or physician. She is also a philanthropist, who made masks for medical and other essential workers during the Covid-19 pandemic. The dress pictured here is now a part of The Children's Collection!
Clairine Ashley Evalda is a fashion designer from Indonesia. She showed her first collection at the Jojga Fashion Parade in October 2021, when she was 8 years old.
Lily Hevesh is a professional Domino Artist who uses physics to create beautifully intricate designs. She started posting videos of her work at age 10, which have had over a billion views on social media. Her game, Hevesh5, is a part of The Children's Collection!
Kids Fashion Week is a non-profit 501(c)3 tax-exempt company that provides a major platform for youth to present their talents to the world. Their year-long program reaches youth in diverse genres to include performing arts, entrepreneurship, and creative industries and culminates with an three-day event, "Kids Fashion Week".
Ted Bettridge started graphic design work at age 10 and specializes in custom prints, brand identity, and hand lettering.
Adrian Kenny, now 20, has worked as a professional designer for 8 years and now design for some of today's most popular mobile apps in the App Store & Play Store.
